KBR Program Analyst in Redstone Arsenal, Alabama

Title:

Program Analyst

Program Analyst will provide direct customer support for the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) program by analyzing program activities to include acquisition plans, proposals, financial management, cost analysis, contractual documents, program element tracking documentation, management techniques, and documentation requirements.

Candidate will:

  • Provide materiel acquisition support, technical analysis, and other experience relating to DoD and industry programs.

  • Oversee the creation/alteration of briefing products required by the government customer for acquisition programs.

  • Possess the ability to generate Contracts Requirement Packages (CRPs) to include Statements of Work, Performance Work Statements, Determination and Findings, Justification and Approval documents, acquisition plans and strategies, market research reports, and lead completion of technical evaluations.

  • Responsible for creating and maintaining technical and administrative lists and databases used to report status of activities at various DoD, MDA, Army, and KBR management levels.

  • Develop Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) in coordination with stakeholders.

  • Develop recommended Contract Line-Item Number structures and contracting strategies and advise on the use of traditional FAR contracts, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity, Undefinitized Contract Actions (UCA), or Other Transactional Authorities.

  • Attend weekly Program meetings as required, track action items to closure from meetings, and maintain a program calendar with input from multiple stakeholders.

  • Attend Integrated Project Team (IPT) meetings, review contractor deliverables, and provide engineering analysis to government customer.

  • Provide direct input to, and be an active participant in, solving issues involving diverse staffs, stakeholders, and resources.

  • Must possess excellent attention-to-detail as well as good decision-making skills and be able to work independently with minimal direction/oversight.

  • Must possess the ability and personal skills to effectively communicate and interact with various management levels for KBR and the government customer on a routine basis.

    Applicants must be goal oriented and experienced in effectively meeting development program milestones while providing solutions to a range of complex technical problems and administrative issues.

    Applicants must possess critical thinking skills to address Government acquisition mandates and warfighter requirements.

    Experience with MDA acquisition processes and procedures is highly desired.

    Excellent oral and written communication skills are required. Excellent knowledge, skills, and abilities using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat (pdf documents) is required.

    B.A./B.S. Degree preferred.

    5+ years of DoD program analyst experience required.

    MDA Program Analyst experience preferred.

    An active secret security clearance is required.
