The incumbent will be responsible for advising the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) leadership on all matters related to program cost, schedule and performance across the Missile Defense System (MDS). Responsibilities This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Acq Demo Business and Technical Management to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. As a Program Analyst at the NH-0343-3 some of your typical work assignments may include: This a program analyst position with the Missile Defense Agency, Redstone Arsenal, AL to assist program management of cost, schedule and performance for the C2BMC-Global (C2BMC-G) effort. Manage all assigned program resources and support activities essential to ensuring delivery of command and control capabilities to DoD customers. Initiate and oversee technically complex integration of varied space domain awareness (SDA) and missile defense capabilities as directed. Accomplish integrated C2 Program Support activities requiring frequent collaboration and joint integration with military services, DoD agencies, combatant commands and other mission partners. Provide leadership, guidance, and direction across all program operations to synchronize business operation and technical management. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications You may qualify at the NH-03 broadband level, if you fulfill the following qualifications. Candidates need to meet 2 of the 4 statements listed below: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-02/GS-11 grade level in the Federal service as listed below: Experience developing and conducting management reviews, decisions, and information briefings related to policy, planning and assessments. Experience assisting in coordinating activities of a multi-discipline team. Experience recognizing and analyzing problems, conducts research, summarize results; make recommendations and solutions. Experience making appropriate and innovative recommendations and/or solutions. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Education Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
