About the Position: Technical advisor in the G-3, Strategy, Concepts, & Capabilities Directorate. This position supports Headquarters U.S. Army Materiel Command (AMC) located on Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama. Responsibilities Manage, develop, coordinate, and integrate input into DoD, Army, and Army Materiel Command (AMC) strategic planning processes and documents for Acquisition, Logistics and Technology. Analyze complex issues to identify key variables and develop practical and innovative solutions based upon knowledge of organizational goals. Identify, verify, and assess causes and methods to resolve problem areas or policy impediments that affect strategic planning and life cycle management. Participate in the integration and prioritization of strategic planning and life cycle management resources, in response to Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution System (PPBES) activities. Advise and provide recommendations to General Officers/Senior Executives concerning major decisions and potential changes in program direction.
