Microsoft Corporation has the following opportunity: Develop a scalable and effective technical strategy to support the rhythm of the business and organizational goals. Stay abreast of relevant legislation, regulatory requirements, and standards to ensure the manufacturing and distribution of products meet material, design, performance, and environmental specifications. Design, develop, test, and evaluate integrated systems for managing production processes related to hardware or other technologies and related components like packaging or batteries. Collaborate with cross functional teams to safeguard integrated systems and materials requirements in light of work factors, quality control, logistics, waste product, materials use, and eco-design requirements. Ensure proper markings, labeling, and substance restrictions conform to standards and sustainability targets. Prevent, control, or remedy adverse environmental conditions. Address organizational sustainability issues related to materials use, product durability, repairability, recyclability, energy efficiency, and waste that pose risks to deployment of a standardized sustainability framework and eco-design roadmap. Telecommuting permitted 100% from any location in the U.S. Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Engineering; IT; Technology Management; or a related field.
  • Experience: 6 months of software-related, centralized and coordinated program, product, or project management experience and/or experience in designing, developing and releasing software products or services.
  • Specific Skills: Education or Experience in: Managing software or business processes for operations, systems, projects, tools or policies; Coordinating program development of computer software applications/systems/services from design through product release; Stakeholder Management; Microsoft Office; Process Flows and Diagrams; and Agile Methodology.

Pay Range and Benefits Information: The offered base pay range for this specific position (V7934743.a), based in Redmond, WA (but telecommuting permitted 100% from any location in the U.S.), is $170,247 to $200,247 per year. 

Microsoft has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.? 

At Microsoft certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus, and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee's role. Benefits/perks listed may vary depending on the nature of employment with Microsoft and the country work location. U.S.-based employees have access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, and wellbeing benefits, among others.
