About this role:
The purpose of this position is to build and provide program management for sophisticated, cross functional Commute projects and programs. Working under general direction, this position is responsible for developing, managing, and operationalizing electrification strategies for a business unit, with focus on planning, modeling, and delivery of transportation and fleet sustainability programming. This position oversees a team responsible for EV charging and fleet operations, and runs and leads all aspects of budgeting, process improvement, controls for specialized software and other functions enabling the business unit to meet objectives in an effective and efficient manner.
As a CBRE Program Sr. Manager, you will manage a team responsible for facilitating medium to large, sophisticated, cross- functional projects and programs and the associated team.
This job is part of the Program Management function. They are responsible for the creation and delivery of strategic programs representing major company initiatives.
What You’ll Do:
Leads sophisticated cross-functional projects and programs end-to-end. Facilitates the development of a charter and coordinated timeline. Ensures that all functions remain on schedule and that issues get raised and resolved so that the program is completed successfully.
Prepare and implement schedules of critical path and achievement events Ensure project/program plans are aligned with client and corporate strategies. Establishes project goals and objectives, including, but not limited to, schedule parameters. Develops project-level and portfolio-level solutions based on interpretation of data and preparation of recommendations.
May lead/lead all aspects of a team who are responsible for the delivery of a portfolio of projects and programs. Serves as the primary client contact and critical issue point for any staffing, bandwidth or delivery issues.
Provide formal supervision to employees. Supervise the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and mentor.
Conduct standard request for proposals; complete bid analysis; recommend resources to clients.
Work with key collaborators to develop solutions and guide project teams throughout delivery.
Build & distribute routine PMO reports, which include status reports and updated Gantt charts.
Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Anticipates potential objections and persuades others, often at senior levels and of divergent interest, to embrace a different point of view.
Impact the achievement of customer, operational, project, or service objectives across multi-discipline teams. Work is guided by functional policies which impact the design of procedures and policies.
Contribute to new processes, standards, and/or operational plans in support of achieving functional goals.
What You’ll Need:
Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8+ years of proven experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and exciting performance and retention is helpful.
The innovative mentality to develop methods that go beyond existing solutions.
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret the most sophisticated business documents. Ability to respond optimally to the most sensitive issues. Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches and articles using distinctive style. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on sophisticated topics to employees, clients, top management and/or public groups. Ability to influence and negotiate optimally with key employees, top management, and client groups to take desired action.
Requires sophisticated knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions. Ability to forecast and prepare budgets. Conducts sophisticated financial analysis.
Strong process skills, negotiating, decision-making and problem-solving skills are vital.
Solid track record in project management processes, tools and techniques. Ability to build and maintain effective professional/client relationships. Intermediate to sophisticated skills with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and PowerPoint.
Decisions made with in-depth understanding and interpretation of procedures, company policies and business practices to achieve general results. Responsible for setting department deliverables. Errors in judgment may cause long-term impact to co-workers, supervisor, department and/or line of business.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Senior Program Manager position is $125,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Senior Program Manager position is $138,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
