Software Design Engineer (Onsite 4-5x week in Redmond) Pay Rate Range: 70-85/hr (Depends on Years of Experience) Est. Contract Duration: 8-months (until 6/30/2025, potential to extend based on budgets and performance) A Fortune 50 Client in the Greater Seattle Area is looking for a SDE to do full-stack development and help with Database/ETL processes. The purpose of this team is a dev team that helps bridge the gaps between current tech that exists within the org. The team is building a lot of prototypes. Front and Back-end work. This role will contribute to stainability quality coming out of the data center. It would be great if the candidates have mechanical engineering experience and data set experience. The role will consist of 10% meetings that consists of a 15 min standup and 1 hour a day related to the project. The rest of the time will be focusing on the project. Candidate Requirements * Years of Experience Required: 8-10 overall years of experience in the field. * Degrees or certifications required: Related to computer science field degree is required to be eligible for this role. Mechanical or electrical base level knowledge would be helpful. * Performance Indicators: Performance will be assessed based on Azure DevOps (ADO) tasks, measure completion and we burn down and quality of work through code reviews. Top 3 Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience 1. Minimum 8+ years experience with C# 2. Minimum 8+ years experience with UI or UX would be helpful. 3. Minimum 8+ years experience with Data sources like data modeling, being able to connect the front end to the back end. Full Stack. Summary: The main function of this Software Engineer is to migrate an existing application to Production for widespread co-authoring. This role will encompass end to end design, development, implementation, testing, and maintenance required for ongoing support. Job Responsibilities: * Lead the migration of a large and complex Dynamics 365 application from a development environment to production, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity. * Design and implement a robust architecture that supports co-authoring and collaboration by multiple users, ensuring scalability and performance. * Develop and enforce best practices for maintainability, security, and recoverability of the application, including disaster recovery plans and backup strategies. * Establish and maintain a comprehensive deployment pipeline that includes automated testing, continuous integration, and continuous deployment (CI/CD) to ensure high-quality releases. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management to define and prioritize requirements and deliverables. * Conduct thorough code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices. * Implement and manage data governance policies to ensure data privacy, compliance, and security within the Dynamics 365 environment. * Develop and maintain detailed documentation for the application, including architecture diagrams, data flow diagrams, and operational procedures. * Monitor and optimize the performance of the application, identifying and resolving bottlenecks and performance issues. * Lead the implementation of Direct Responsible Individual (DRI) practices, ensuring clear ownership and accountability for all aspect
