As a CO+I Senior Technical Program Manager, Fulfillment & Logistics, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the physical and logical management of IT infrastructure throughout its lifecycle within secure production environments. This includes key services such as Bing, Chat GPT, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and the Microsoft Azure platform. Your responsibilities will encompass ensuring the security, strategy, and compliance of datacenter assets, as well as driving continuous improvement, standardization, and efficiency in asset lifecycle management processes and procedures.

This role is located either in one or all hub locations - Atlanta, GA, Washington, D.C., Redmond, WA, San Antonio, TX or Phoenix, AZ.

Relocation support will be provided, and successful candidates will need to ​relocate or reside within 50 miles of the hub office location.

This role is eligible for hybrid or remote work, up to 100%.

Responsibilities

  • You will be the subject matter expert for IT and Critical Environments Asset Lifecycle Management for the regional data center operations teams.

  • This role will drive quality and consistency across geographical regions and work for global standard alignment for data center asset management and end to end chain of custody.

  • Serve as a functional expert in receiving IT and Critical Environment assets and equipment into the authoritative sources in tooling and documentation depositories.

  • Report & present detailed data analytics and reporting focused on measurable results while driving continuous improvement. Experience with database languages such as Structured Query Language (SQL) or Kusto Query Language (KQL) is preferred.

  • Customer service, interpersonal awareness, and communication skills will be pivotal in bringing your technical and logistical abilities to life, while supporting Microsoft’s future success!

  • Project Planning and Coordination -Accountable to lead and facilitate and coordinate, across multiple cross organizational teams for end-to-end asset decommission and capacity retrofit for new deployments.

  • Workflow optimization to support efficient utilization of datacenter personnel executing decommission activities and migration activities.

  • Support Data Bearing Device (DBD) chain of custody management initiatives to ensure customer data is always secure.

  • Proactively identify potential risks and issues that may impact project timelines or deliverables. Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.

  • Co-ordination and tracking of supplier deliveries with global site teams ensuring projects are on time and risks are identified early.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • 2+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.

  • 4+ years of program management in cloud enterprise at global scale

  • 4+ years experience with Global Cloud Data Center Critical Environments facilities equipment including sparing levels, onsite storage and regional storage, best practices and high volume consumables

Other Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check : This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Additional or Pr eferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • 6+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.

  • General knowledge of physical IT infrastructures & equipment (e.g., Servers, SANs, Networking, etc.)

  • General knowledge of physical CE infrastructures & equipment (e.g., UPS, Generator, AHU, etc.)

  • Capability and experience in broad strategic planning and execution.

  • Experience in a production, mission-critical, 24x7x365 operations environment.

  • Cross organizational presentations and communications in an enterprise level cloud environment

  • Experience with Safety protocols, PPE requirements and reporting of any safety violations.

Technical Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
