We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help define, design, implement and maintain a quality Launcher experience to continue unifying our community of PC players, so they can keep playing our games from a single PC application. Come help build that and have fun doing it!

Responsibilities

• Be a primary developer on the Minecraft Launcher's core platform

• Collaborate with Launcher platform developers to implement the experience

• Create well-tested, extensible, secure, and performant code

• Participate in an agile development process, with stand-ups, planning and retrospectives

Qualifications

Required Qualifications :

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, React, or Typescript OR equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience using C++17 to build desktop applications

• Demonstrated experience in cross-team collaboration

• Self-starter with written and verbal communication skills

Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
