Project and Program Management - Project Manager Non Tech BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Project and Program Management - Project Manager Non Tech for an opportunity in Redmond, WA! Position Title: Project and Program Management - Project Manager Non Tech Location: Redmond, WA Anticipated Start Date: ASAP Expected Duration: 06 Months and possibility of extension. Payrate : $68/hr on W2. Top 3 Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience 1. Minimum 5-8 years experience with Project/Program Management 2. Minimum 2-3 years experience working at MSFT 3. Minimum 5-8 years experience with Compliance/Governance - understanding and translating policy or legal statements into actionable tasks. Hard Skills Assessments * Expected Dates that Hard Skills Assessments will be scheduled: Asap * Hard Skills Assessment Process: The assessment process will include 1 round with the sponsor * Required Candidate Preparation: Candidates should have examples of responsible AI prepared prior to the assessment. Summary: The main function of a non-IT project manager is to plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as engineering, research and development, financial systems and product roll-out, etc or any other non-IT based project. Job Responsibilities: * Coordinate projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing work across stakeholders. * Present and explain proposals, reports and findings to clients. * Analyze technology, resource needs and prioritization, to plan and assess the feasibility of projects. * Confer with management, production and stakeholders to discuss project specifications and procedures. * Organize and support communications on project status and plans to stakeholders and executive sponsors. * Manage timeline and milestone delivery, including identify and flagging at risk deliverables. Skills: * Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work independently and manage one's time. * Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods. * Knowledge of computer software, such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio etc. Education/Experience: * Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field. * PMI or PMP certification preferred. * 5-7 years experience required.
