We are looking for a Principal Program Manager (PM)- Technical Business Development. This role is in the Adaptive Cloud Experiences | Customer Engagement Engineering (CEE) team and requires a self-starter with a technical background to drive direct Microsoft sales and engineering alignment across a diverse product portfolio. As a key member of the CEE team, you will work across diverse product teams as well as Sales Strategy, Marketing, Business Planning, Pricing/Licensing, and Business Development organizations to ensure the adaptive cloud value proposition is integrated into mainstream sales motions.

Responsibilities

  • Drive direct Microsoft sales and engineering alignment across a diverse product protfolio

  • Work across diverse product teams as well as Sales Strategy, Marketing, Business Planning, Pricing/Licensing, and Business Development organizations to ensure the adaptive cloud value proposition is integrated into mainstream sales motions.

  • Builds trust with a targeted selection of customers across sectors. Orchestrates a line of communication with complex and advanced customers to capture feedback and insights through the product development lifecycle.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • 3+ years of experience creating and landing complex Go-to-Market (GTM) models including fit for purpose planning, product component composition, incentive planning, and business and market intelligence analysis

  • 3+ years of detailed sales operations experience and skills including value proposition, sales organizational structure, compensation models, and funnel progression for new to market products

  • 3+ years of experience as an industry leader in the enterprise cloud/services segment, particularly with retail, healthcare and/or manufacturing background

Other Requirements

Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 10+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • Excellent communication skills, capable of organizing information in a clear and concise manner for diverse audiences, ranging from senior leadership to account managers

  • Demonstrated knowledge of compensation systems, forecasting and CRM tooling is preferred.

Product Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $137,600 - $267,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $180,400 - $294,000 per year.
