Meta Operations Program Manager, Procurement in Redmond, Washington

Summary:

Build the future! In this role, you will partner with researchers driving the future through contextual AI, robotics and haptic. You will be the primary partner between our researchers and the procurement systems helping acquire equipment, services and prototype manufacturing. Working closely with finance and business partnerships, you will ensure working within approved budgets and tracking assets. The role provides an opportunity to help develop the next generation of Reality Labs products.

Required Skills:

Operations Program Manager, Procurement Responsibilities:

  1. Procurement logistics: Lead a team of contract specialists supporting procurement and procurement for the research team.

  2. Finance and budgeting: Work with research leadership to own the team's annual budget allocation. Develops reports and owns tracking to enable data-based decisions on budget spends and allocation during the fiscal year.

  3. Support creation and management of purchase orders and statements of work. Ensure all PO and invoice approvals are aligned with budget and budget owners’ expectations.

  4. Support purchasing and expenses.

  5. Identify inefficiencies in our organization and lab operational systems related to procurement and finance and partner with key stakeholders and decision makers to and propose and drive long term solutions.

  6. Provide and maintain systems for expense tracking against the budget by designing and creating an easy-to-use mapping between budget and POs.

  7. Acts as a facilitator within the team to make internal departments more efficient in planning and working within their own budgets.

  8. Support monthly accrual tracking and reporting within Meta tooling. Own and make improvements to the budget dashboard or reporting system.

  9. Lead Internal hardware/prototype requests and inventory management.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Demonstrated experience in accounting practices, terminology, and processes.

  2. Experience developing data analysis and visualization reports to communicate current budget usage

  3. Proficient at using spreadsheet tools (MS Excel, Google sheets), for example pivot tables, charts, scripting, customized views, summary sheets.

  4. Graphic skills and tools: MS PowerPoint, Google slides, Adobe Illustrator, Visio, etc.

  5. Detail oriented - expert at spotting gaps or errors in large sets of data.

  6. Knowledge of Procurement Pipelines and Vendor SOW’s.

  7. Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, Project Manager or related field.

  8. 4+ years of experience in accounting and/or financial analysis.

Public Compensation:

$94,000/year to $136,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
