We have a brand new opportunity available for a Network Engineer to join our client’s team for a onsite position in Redmond, WA and be responsible for planning and implementing network upgrades.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Adjust network sizes to meet volume or capacity demands

• Communicate with customers, sales staff, or marketing staff to determine customer needs

• Coordinate network operations, maintenance, repairs, or upgrades

• Design, build, or operate equipment configuration prototypes, including network hardware, software, servers, or server operation systems

• Determine specific network hardware or software requirements such as platforms, interfaces, bandwidths, or routine schemas

• Develop and implement solutions for network problems

• Maintain multi-site connectivity, software applications, and operating systems through regular maintenance

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required

• Minimum 2 to 4+ years of experience required

• Minimum 6 months of experience with

• Azure services

• Arista

• Aruba

• Palo Alto

• Network / systems administration / related work experience required

• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification a plus

• Knowledge of computer hardware as it relates to data storage

• Knowledge of computer software, such as configuration management software, desktop communications software, operating system software and internet directory services software

• Experience with Azure services, configuration, and networking within an enterprise multi-site hybrid environment

• Experience with system planning and capacity tools and analyses

• Proven experience with Arista, Aruba and Palo Alto hardware and software

• Experience with connectivity, configuration, and performance between physical and virtual hardware

$48.00 - $52.00 per hour
