Our client, the largest technology company, is seeking a group assistant to join their team. Ideal candidate experience with managing data centers or cloud services, Microsoft office suite/ Outlook , Ability to do self-research and learn new applications and tools.

Job Title: Group Assistant

Location: Redmond , WA

Pay Range: $30 -$32/hr on W2

What’s the job?

We are seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated Administrative Support Specialist to provide comprehensive administrative support to a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment, and a proactive attitude toward problem-solving. This role requires a commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, and adaptability.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide general administrative support, including team onboarding and space management.

  • Coordinate logistics for events such as all-hands meetings, off-sites, and morale events (e.g., room reservations, catering).

  • Manage procurement of office supplies, computer equipment, and reference materials.

  • Maintain compliance with administrative operational policies and procedures.

  • Assist the Executive Assistant (EA) with ad hoc tasks and requests.

  • Ensure exceptional customer service and efficient operations for the team.

  • Anticipate and resolve administrative roadblocks proactively.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience: 1–2 years of relevant experience.

  • Education: A degree is preferred but not mandatory.

  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, and MS Teams.

  • Skills: Strong organizational, problem-solving, and project management skills. Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple projects effectively.

  • Behavioral Traits: Must possess sound judgment, tact, diplomacy, and professionalism. Able to operate with ambiguity and adapt to fluctuating environments.

  • Additional Requirements: Candidates must be able to maintain utmost confidentiality and respond with urgency to critical situations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing data centers or cloud services.

  • Ability to self-research and quickly learn new applications and tools.

  • Proven track record of reliability, accountability, and a proactive approach to work.

Assessment Process:

  • One interview round with the hiring sponsor.

  • Candidates should prepare for behavioral questions and demonstrate strong communication skills.

Performance Indicators:

  • Quality of work and adherence to deadlines will be the primary metrics for evaluating performance.

Additional Notes:

  • This position offers the possibility of extension based on performance and budget.

  • Standard equipment (e.g., laptop, mouse, headset, extra monitor) will be provided.

  • Candidates with frequent job changes or contracts shorter than three months may not qualify.
