Actalent Electrical Test Engineer- Power Supply in Redmond, Washington

Electrical Engineer- Power Supply

Placement Type: Managed Service Assignment

Pay: $45-$50/hr

Responsibilities:

• Validate power supply products in a lab environment using automated test applications and bench setups.

• Develop and prioritize test plans, write test procedures, and generate comprehensive test reports.

• Conduct preliminary failure analysis and board-level troubleshooting.

• Maintain and improve test automation.

• Execute tests independently with minimal supervision

Top Three:

Python

Experience in new development of test automation programs, conduct testing, create test reports.

Experience with consumer electronics, power supply of 500W or less, AC-DC, Battery Chargers

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a hardware-related role, focusing on power supply/power or board level electrical engineering.

  • Knowledge of electronic fundamentals, with the ability to read and understand circuit schematics and datasheets.

  • Extensive hands-on experience with hardware testing equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMMs, AC sources, DC loads, and power meters.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Skills:

  • Proficiency in Python scripting for test automation.

  • Experience in executing hardware tests in AC-DC power supply or power.

  • Experience with USB PD products.

  • Experience with Chroma automated test systems.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $50.00/hr.
