BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Data Analyst 1 Professional Job for an opportunity at Remote! Position Title: Data Analyst 1 Location: Remote Anticipated Start Date: ASAP Please note this is the target date and is subject to change. Expected Duration: Contract of 06 Months (Hours per Week: 40) and possibility of extension Job Type: Contract and remote Pay Range: $21 - $24/hr. on w2 Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.). Candidates should have a work assessment (included in the Job Details attachment) completed Prior and have prepared prior to the assessment. For every hour doctors spend with their patients, they spend two hours on process and clerical tasks. And when they do meet with patients, they spend most of the time glued to their computer. We are EmpowerMD, a product team in client Healthcare that's building ambient intelligence for the clinic. Our technology will let doctors focus on what they do best: taking care of patients. We are an incubation team in client healthcare building an AI-based solution to take care of routine tasks for physicians. Our Data Analysts play an important role in providing us with medical expertise to help us build AI health solutions. Top Skills: * Years of Experience Required: 2+ overall years of experience in the field. * Degrees or certifications required: bachelor's or master's degree in biology, health informatics, nursing, biology or related field * Nurse Practitioner, Medical Scribes, Medical Assistants, or Clinical Research Associate with minimum 2 years of clinical annotation experience * Detail-oriented and attentive, a self-starter and analytical thinker * Fluency in clinical parameters, medical terminology, and ontologies such as ICD-10-CM, SNOMED-CT, CPT, RxNorm and LOINC. Job Description: About The Role: We are looking for detailed and visual-oriented individuals to join us in our goal to improve the quality of care for patients by letting doctors focus on what they do best: taking care of patients. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for quality-reviewing and annotating clinical data. You will work with a growing multidisciplinary team of talented clinical researchers, data scientists, engineers, and statisticians, that work at the intersection of clinical knowledge and advanced data science. The ideal candidate for this role is a visual learner, who has great attention to detail, and is comfortable conducting repetitive work with medical data. Responsibilities: As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will: * Utilizing your clinical experience, use our editing interface to annotate and QA existing labels of medical data with appropriate, pre-defined tags that you will learn during your training and onboarding process. * Annotating the clinical data from different databases based on the Linguistic Role, Clinical classification, Structure Role in Medical Note and/or Extraction of clinical attributes with normalization. * Responsible for data de-duplication (matching and merging data), data cleansing (matching, linking, updating records), * Utilizing multiple sources of data including tools to analyze and resolve problems. * Approach work requirements in a methodical and conscientious manner. * Prioritizing tasks and following them through to completion in a timely manner, with minimal supervision. * Managing multiple tasks simultaneously. * The responsibilities listed are a general overview of the position and additi To view the full job description,
