Apex is Partnering with an Ed Tech company to hire a Product Marketing Manager/ Content Program Manager for a 6 month contract. The goal is to understand and map out a process for a more seamless customer journey. This role can be performed remotely. Rate is between $50-$55/hr This role has been opened due to needing to create customer-facing materials and programs aligned to new strategic direction. Assets and programs will be accessible to education customers through direct engagements with customer success team members, discoverable on the website, and should help a customer have a seamless end to end user experience when finding materials and assets that will support them in their adoption of the product. Typical Day in the Role

  • Purpose of the Team:The purpose of the team is to create content and resources that help any education user, no matter the role (educator, school leader, admin, parent, etc.) understand both the why and how of using the product. The team is tasked with increasing the usage of the product across its existing licensed user base. The focus should be on ensuring any customer who goes looking for resources should be able to quickly understand the value of using the product, and understand the next steps and support materials available to them to help them get started.
  • Key projects: We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Temporary Content Program Manager /Product Marketing Manager to join our team and support the activation and adoption of the product among clients. This role will focus on creating and delivering high-quality content guides and information relevant to core curriculum (Computer Science, English, Math, and Science), and ensure the customer has a seamless end to end user experience when looking for resources and support across customer-facing channels. The ideal candidate will collaborate with Marketing, Web, Customer Success staff, and data teams, while also communicating effectively with internal stakeholders and external users such as teachers and educators.

Role Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver content for specific features or customer role types within Project Based Learning, Applied Learning, Computer Science, English, Math, and Science subjects.
  2. Identify gaps in existing end to end customer journeys for key scenarios across web and other customer facing channels, create backlog of assets and resources needed, and execute the creation of the materials.
  3. Work with senior colleagues to understand how their work fits into the bigger picture and activates accounts. Gather content requirements from stakeholders to effectively deliver content.
  4. Contribute to the content curation process by assisting with defining content themes within specific products.
  5. Combine product business metrics, such as MAU and downloads, to assess the impact of work and optimize content utilization.
  6. Engage with existing partners and stakeholders to equip them with the correct information and meet their expectations.
  7. Resolve partner or audience problems within job scope highlighted by audience/partner feedback.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in content creation, marketing, product marketing, enablement, and/or user experience. Strong project and program management skills. Is able to identify gaps in a user journey, identify solutions, and execute by creating content to fill the gaps.

Understanding of the education landscape, including familiarity with educational technology and its application in K-12 settings, and the various role types served
