LANDSCAPE LABORERS (6) temporary full-time positions 02/12/2025-12/11/2025. Work throughout the following counties/areas: BOONE, CABELL, FAYETTE, JACKSON, KANAWHA, MASON, and PUTNAM in WV, and areas of Beckley WV, Huntington WV, Charleston WV, Ashland KY, WV-KY-OH, Northern WV nonmetropolitan area. Employer will provide transportation to various job sites. Work Monday-Friday 8:00am-430pm, 35+/hrs per week. Duties may include: Landscape or maintain grounds of property using hand or power tools or equipment. Workers typically perform a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following: Assist with the application of fertilizer, sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, digging of small holes for placement of small plants/shrubs, raking, mulching, and pruning; and assist with the installation and maintenance of low-voltage lighting & other related Landscape Laborer activities. All work will be done with employer provided tools, supplies, and equipment without charge or deposit. Overtime possible, but not required or guaranteed. At Employers sole discretion: possible raises and/or bonuses based on individual factors such as work performance or skill (not guaranteed). Possible weekend/holiday work. Must be 18 due to insurance. Must show proof of legal authorization to work in the United States. Drug/alcohol/tobacco free work zone. Perform physical activities: such as lift, balance, walk, stoop, handle, position, move, manipulate materials use static strength to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, carry objects up to 50lbs. All applicants must be able, willing and qualified to perform work described and must be available for the entire period specified and work throughout all areas of intended employment. Work is performed outdoors, exposed to weather; must be capable of doing physically strenuous labor for long hours, occasionally in extreme heat or cold. Variable weather conditions apply; hours may fluctuate (+/-), possible downtime and/or overtime. At Employers sole discretion: possible cash advances (if applicable/requested by worker, potential deduction from workers paycheck). $14.48/hr up to possible $18.00/hr OT $21.72/hr up to possible $27.00/hr. Work is temporary full time employment. A single workweek will be used to compute wages. Paid weekly. All deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law will be made. The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. At employers sole discretion: possible raises and/or bonuses based on individual factors such as performance or skill (not guaranteed). Inbound & Outbound transportation: Amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at the rate required at the time of travel (currently $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts). Transportation & subsistence will be reimbursed (by check in 1st workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by H-2B worker (not including passport). Upon completion of work contract or where the worker is dismissed early, employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. 3/4s Guarantee: The worker will be offered a total number of work hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays of each 12-week period. Tools, equipment & supplies: All work will be done with employer provided tools, supplies and equipment without charge or deposit. Miscellaneous: Optional, shared furnished housing available to the worker (including: utilities) at a monthly housing rate up to $300; if optional housing is agreed pon by the worker, monthly housing rate will be deducted from worker's paycheck incrementally (weekly). Any worker who voluntarily abandons employment is not entitled to payment for outbound transportation or the full 3/4s Guarantee described.
