The role will report to the FP&A Lead – North America and will support in the performance management, planning and strategy development for North America.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in the preparation of premium and expense forecasts at regular intervals

  • Gather and maintain data at the plan class level

  • Provide meaningful analysis of the monthly and quarterly production data and produce reports to support the business leaders in the understanding and development of the plan

  • Enhance management reporting capabilities for the divisions through process automation

  • Provide strategic forward looking financial information

  • Ensure the divisions are properly supported by the Finance organization

  • Perform various analysis expense analysis, including commissions and headcount

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a financial analysis, financial reporting, or similar role

  • P&C insurance knowledge preferred but not required

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, and the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships

  • Proficient with MS Office products including developing presentations and reports for management

  • Strong analytical thinking and ability to identify, explore and push creative idea

  • Experience of reporting and finance systems such as Anaplan and Power BI

  • Solution and delivery oriented, with a flexible outlook

  • Good team player with the ability to contribute to the development of AXIS

For this position, we expect to offer a base salary in the range of USD 75,000 - 100,000. The specific salary offer will be based on an assessment of a variety of factors, including the experience of the successful candidate and their work location.
