Senior Project Manager Purpose: Our business is growing, and we need additional experienced people to join our team! The successful candidate will be planning, coordinating and managing the design of capital projects in Nuclear Business Unit.  You must have previous experience on projects in Nuclear industry. You must reside or planning to reside within 50 km of Markham. Provides direction and project management to ensure project completion in accordance with contractual obligations. Defines project goals and devises methods to accomplish them; develops in-depth knowledge of customer objectives, contract terms, and corporate policies. Plans, organizes, manages, and controls project with the established policies, procedures, systems, and requirements approved by the Worley. Supervises area personnel through subordinate leaders. Additionally, he/she will ensure clear agreement of client objectives, and these objectives are met or exceeded, achieve or better the budgeted gross margin and provide strong HSE leadership. We are looking candidate who is able to visualize and design new concepts and ideas related to technical/functional discipline. Broad knowledge of business operations and ability to implement and sometimes lead organizational change effectively within project scope. Solutions are derived from interpreted and applied general information and consultation with other individuals. Typically manages work directly through project leads or with other area project managers. Often serve as a proposal manager for projects. Responsibilities: HSE Management - Ensures compliance with all HSE procedures and that that HSE requirements are documented and understood by all project participants. Client Relationships - Identifies, documents, and communicates client requirements. Effectively manages multiple stakeholders and maintains / develops healthy client relationships throughout the project and post-completion. Proactively resolves performance, scope, cost, and schedule issues with the Client as they arise. Commercial Management - effectively manages project according to Worley/Client contract. Scope Management - manages an effective handover from the Business Development Group. Clearly defines area scope and compliance with requirements of the contract. Effectively manages change control process application, project interfaces, including use of High Value Engineering Centers. Manages and monitors area performance to identify issues and opportunities early and seizing opportunities to take pre-emptive action. Time Management - Manages the planning of all scope elements of the project. Develops resource and financial requirements from the project plan. Manages the design, procurement, and construction activities to meet the project schedule. Routinely monitors the key reports and development of corrective action plans. Achieves timely and effective documentation turnover at project close-out. Cost Control - Plans and prepares accurate project estimates. Establishes cost reports for control of projects. Monitors and controls all cost aspects of the project including forecasting costs, obtaining approvals, identifying trends and taking action to avoid cost overruns and identifying opportunities. Continual assessment of performance of cost control system and ersonnel. Quality Management - Defines the project quality requirements according to overall Project Quality Program. Ensures the right systems are in place and applied on the project. Develops a project schedule for project which allows work to be executed in logical sequences. Ensures compliance with Worley policies and procedures. Team Management - Provides clear and focused leadership for the project team to create a vision for project success and a strategy to fit that vision. Focuses on achievement of milestones and other key project objectives. Provides mentoring and participates in staff performance evaluations. Communications Management - Ensures accurate and timely progress reporting to the client and internally to Worley management. Ongoing monitoring of the communication network between project staff, the client and third parties and introduction of changes where required. Risk Management - Identifies project risks and opportunities. Monitors closure of all identified risks and opportunities. Design Management - Sets clear objectives for the design team. Ensures design team is aware of and complies with client's Basis of Design and applicable regulations and codes. Monitors design activities, inter-discipline data flow and communications. Demonstrable commitment to HSE Management in a project environment. Demonstrated experience leading complex negotiations and managing client relationships Excellent leadership and communication skills. High level of customer focus; result-oriented leadership skill. Safety and quality committed leader. Able to make independent decisions and set priorities related to complex situation based on established guidelines and considering the cost and schedule impacts to the project. Excellent relationship building and stakeholder management skills. Proven ability in leading multidiscipline activities. Experience on Nuclear projects in the execution phase, from the commencement of detailed engineering, support of procurement and  construction activities. Able to demonstrate full commitment to excellent health and safety outcomes. Demonstrated ability to build, maintain and nurture client relationships. Demonstrated experience applying lessons learnt and adopting innovative solutions for continual improvement. Willingness to take ownership of work outcomes. Be flexible and adaptable to change in priorities at short notice.

What you will bring Technical and Industry Experience: Senior years of relevant supervisory, project management and/or technical experience within Nuclear Industry. Engineering delivery experience in Nuclear Industry Candidates authorized to work in Canada Candidates residing within 50 km of Markham Education - Qualifications, Accreditation, Training: Required: University degree.
