Description

We are offering a contract opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in the Healthcare/NHS industry, located in Reading, Pennsylvania. The primary function of this role involves processing customer credit applications, maintaining customer credit records, and handling customer credit inquiries. This role also involves monitoring customer credit accounts and taking appropriate actions to collect delinquent payments.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications

• Maintain precise records of customer credit information

• Resolve customer inquiries regarding their credit status

• Regularly monitor customer credit accounts for any changes or inconsistencies

• Take appropriate actions to collect delinquent payments, adhering to set company standards and procedures

• Utilize Accounts Receivable (AR) systems to track and manage customer credit information

• Employ Excel Formulas for efficient data management and reporting

• Ensure confidentiality and security of customer credit data

• Collaborate with the finance team to streamline credit control processes

• Stay informed about industry trends and changes that might impact credit control procedures

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) is required.

• Demonstrated ability to use Excel Formulas effectively.

• Prior experience in the Healthcare/NHS industry is desirable.

• A strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work.

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality, as the role involves handling sensitive financial information.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• High level of integrity and dependability.

• Proficiency in using accounting software and related technologies.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.

• Ability to work effectively in a team and contribute positively to team dynamics.
