Position Title: Rapid Prototype / 3D Printing Technician Location: Raymond, OH Pay rate: $22.50 - 28.50 pending experience Additive Manufacturing (3D Printing) Technician Responsibilities: Operate additive manufacturing equipment (including related software pre-processing steps). Post-process additive manufacturing parts, including gluing, sanding, cleaning, and/or modifying plastic parts. Operate hand tools. Maintain and service workshop machinery and laboratory equipment. Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed. Monitor and control stock levels in the laboratory. Requirements: Previous experience in the rapid prototyping industry preferred. Good written and verbal communication skills, including handling problem situations with customers. Computer skills, attention to detail, organized, with critical-thinking skills. Experience working in 3D CAD, particularly CATIA and preferably Magics or other AM software. Basic understanding of all part finishing techniques and ability to complete tasks with moderate supervision in a timely manner. Basic understanding of part cleaning and curing processes. Measure parts using applicable tools and software and report results. Basic math skills, familiar with the metric system. Excellent communication and phone skills. Proficiency with Windows and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Perform lower level periodic maintenance on all RP equipment. Calibration and maintenance of workshop and laboratory equipment.
