Human Resources Intern (Multiple Locations)

The opportunity:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Human Resources intern to join our team. As an HR intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various HR functions while supporting the HR teams efforts within a manufacturing environment.

How you will impact Smufit Westrock:

\u2022 Participating in learning opportunities and training sessions to expand knowledge of HR practices and processes.

\u2022 Assisting in maintaining accurate and organized employee records and HR documentation.

\u2022 Collaborating with HR team members on various projects and initiatives related to employee development, time and attendance, and policies and procedures.

\u2022 Researching, collecting data, and generating reports to support HR initiatives and decision making.

\u2022 Assisting in organized and coordinating HR-related events, training sessions, and employee engagement activities.

What you need to succeed:

\u2022 Current enrollment in bachelor\u2019s degree program in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

\u2022 Course experience in related field.

\u2022 Excellent oral and written communication skills

\u2022 Excellent interpersonal and social skills.

\u2022 Strong work ethic

\u2022 Organizational Skills and attention to detail

\u2022 Microsoft suite proficiency (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams)
