This is your opportunity for a 1st shift direct hire opportunity in the Randleman, NC area. Pay is 60,000-75,000 and interview are happening this week. work hours: 6 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities

Hours- 6AM to 5PM Mon through Fri and occasionally on Saturday's 45-50hrs per week.

Job description:

Directly supervise 8-10 workers a various work stations and ensure each person is on task and performing work as scheduled. This includes but not limited to, monitoring safety in the work are, inspecting components as they come off assembly tables for accuracy and quality, keeping necessary materials and consumables out ahead of the workers and coordinating with production management on schedules and expectations. This supervisory role is over the process of taking pre-fabricated stair stringers and stair rails and welding them together to make a complete stair set, based off of work orders provided my plant management. This operation also interacts with painting and crating/palletizing of the final finished product.

Required qualifications:

-Must have 3-5 years of experience as a supervisor

-experience in the metal fabrication and/or the commercial construction industry

-knowledge and/or experience in welding, cutting and finishing of steel

-good communication skills such as: send and receive basic emails, able to talk with management and communicate tasks/instrctions clearly to workers

-blue print reading

-math skills

-expert at reading tape measures

-self starting and motivated

-hands-on, not afraid to get dirty

-goal oriented

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment

• wearing steel toe shoes

• manual lifting up to 30lbs

• standing for 8 hours at one time

• working up to 10 hrs of overtime per week

• working weekends
