Bolton & Menk has a great opportunity for an Architectural Designer to join our newly established Architecture Group. We are looking to add an Architectural Designer who will help foster our mission that All People Should Live in Safe, Sustainable and Beautiful Communities and who can demonstrate professionalism through:

• A curiosity to investigate rational solutions within a limited set of variables

• Relentless follow through and resilience to imperfect circumstances while honing one's own practice of Architecture

You will work with internal staff, managers and clients to design, develop and deliver various building types for civic and private clients alike. you will collaborate with our cross-functional design teams to develop designs from conception through design development, prepare construction documents, specifications, team coordination, and support the project team through construction administration for a variety of project types and sizes

We are looking for curious, self-motivated candidates capable of leading and supporting multidisciplinary project teams. If you're able to creatively apply your architectural experiences to a variety of projects and enjoy developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and staff - we are looking for you!

What You Will Be Doing:

• Provide planning, design, and coordination of different size projects up to large complex projects.

• Independently apply architectural concepts and designs as well as carry out complex or novel assignments requiring the development of new or improved techniques and procedures.

• Coordinate drawings and specifications directly with the specification writer and assist in preparing sections as assigned.

• Engage and guide innovative idea generation within the integrated team in pursuit of design excellence.

• Review cost estimates for alignment with the design.

What We Are Looking For:

• Professional Architectural Degree from an accredited institution.

• 0 - 4 years of architecture experience within the architecture, design, engineering and construction field

• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and other visualization design tools such as Sketchup or Rhino.

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.). Familiarity with construction management platforms such as proforma, eBuilder or Newforma a plus.

• Possess a valid drivers license as travel to various facilities and job sites may be required
