Job Title: Accounting Specialist

Job Description

Resolve and verify amounts on invoices by matching purchase orders (PO) and receiving records. Review all standard AP invoices for necessary account coding, authorizations, and tax. Roughly 50% of workload per day using the Purchasing Card (P-Card) Program, maintaining profiles, approvals, match records, and documentation. Enter billing information into appropriate programs, process, and send billings. Ensure receipts are included, itemized, and dates are correct. Verify expenses fall within correct coding and reach out if any expenses don't match.

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Ramsey, Minnesota and some days remote.

Must Have Skills

Associates degree in accounting or related field

1+ years P-Card experience

2+ years Accounting or Accounts Payable experience

Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
