National Coatings & Supplies Warehouse Manager in Raleigh, North Carolina

In this role you will be accountable for the daily direct operations of the warehouse with regard to: planning, warehousing, distribution, general logistics, customer service, and supervisor management. You be part of a growing team dedicated to providing quality private labels and all major brand lubricants to our valued clients.

Warehouse Manager Duties:

Motivate supervisors to accomplish objectives and tasks while exceeding performance expectations

Evaluate the effectiveness of recommend alternatives for work methods, procedures, controls, and staffing to achieve accurate and timely movement and processing of products

Evaluate the effectiveness and packing of storage racks to ensure its optimal efficiency based on inventory needs

Develop supervisors for leadership through mentoring, coaching, and training

Manage all processes and functions to support inventory accuracy in finished goods (put away, count, picking, and shipping)

Maintain receiving accuracy

Monitor and support employee performance

Ensure all paperwork is properly prepared and managed

Maintain direct link through timely communication and follow-up with department heads to ensure coordination of warehouse and distribution activities and activities of other functions such as customer service, production, quality control, purchasing, accounting, transportation, production planning and human resources

Warehouse Manager Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree preferred

Associates or High School Diploma/GED accepted with equivalent work experience

5 years related industry experience preferred

2-3 years of previous management experience required

Requires strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Must demonstrate good follow-up and follow through

Ability to multi-task, problem solve, and work in a face paced, demanding environment.

The ability to clearly communicate information and ideas both verbally and in written form so others will understand

Ability to work with others
