Essential Job Duties:

Reporting to the Director of Graduate Career Services, the Analytics and Technical Operations Associate manages business-critical processes relating to the Poole College Career Center’s digital tools, employment outcome reporting, and internal success measures for the unit. Functional responsibilities include:

Digital tools and databases – 35%

Supports full life-cycle management of a suite of digital tools, databases, and two employment CRMs (Simplicity and 12Twenty) serving Poole College Career Center students, staff, employers, and alumni. This may include:

Onboard new products and digital tools; manage annual contract renewal and negotiation; and discontinue products.

Organize periodic reviews of all digital tool subscriptions, evaluating quality, impact, usage, and return on investment to ensure optimal stewardship of career center resources.

Frequently evaluate new or emerging career services technologies, and organize product demos for career center staff and students. Holistically evaluate high-potential products.This may include regular benchmarking efforts with peer and aspirational business schools.

Provides prompt, outstanding customer service to students and staff.

Create end-user training material for students, staff, and employers where applicable, and serve as in-house technical troubleshooting expert for all digital tools.

Implement requests for major and minor technical changes, leading functional upgrades and phased roll-outs of technologies, and API coordination between technologies.

Create and maintain internal file storage architecture for proprietary in-house documents.

Coordinate with other career centers across campus to share technologies when appropriate.

Outcome reporting and assessment 25%

In close collaboration with the Director of Career Services, the Analytics and Technical Operations Associate will support the design, launch, and continuous optimization of an employment outcome collection process that systematically captures all relevant Poole College student employment outcomes and relevant career center data. This will include:

Generate regular internal employment update reports for career center staff and college leadership to stay abreast of real-time recruiting trends across degree platforms

Partner with Career Center Director, college data scientist, and other leaders within the college to report employment outcomes to national and international rankings bodies and accreditation agencies in alignment with strict reporting guidelines and regulations.

Develop processes for collecting and analyzing career center data in a way that will help the center evaluate its impact and overall success and areas for improvement. This could include: employment outcomes; engagement analytics across career coaching, professional development programming; participation statistics for on-campus recruiting activities; satisfaction reports from students and employers, etc.

Partner with the career center coaching team and employer relations team to develop an internal processes to measure and evaluate holistic career center success, as well as the impact of the career centers work on on student success

Required Qualifications:

Experience using and/or managing CRMs and/or web based tools

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with high levels of autonomy

Prefers being an independent contributor when working in a team setting

Strong written and oral communication skills

Enjoys analyzing data and comfort working with data

High ethical standards – ability to handle sensitive student, employer, and alumni information

High attention to detail, known for producing extremely accurate work

Experience using excel at a beginner to intermediate level, or strong desire to become highly proficient in excel

Process oriented

Desire to bring organization and structure to disorganized and unstructured environments
