ARCO Sr. Proposal Manager in Raleigh, North Carolina

Within our organization, we have an immediate requirement for a Senior Proposal Manger that can bring their ‘A Game’, establish a foundational proposal management team, and lead some of our region’s largest pursuits and opportunities.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

  • Acting as expert and steward of our sales process with key members of our capture teams including executives, business developers, design-build managers, market outreach teams, and inside sales teams

  • Leading strategy and early solutioning sessions to define and refine strengths, value propositions, thoughtful win plans, executive summaries, and white papers that highlight the features and benefits that make our offer uniquely advantageous to our customers

  • Conducting client, competitor and market research including SWOT assessments for strategic pursuits

  • Planning, organizing, and directing all elements of the qualification, proposal and presentation process – including analyzing the client request, conducting kick-off meetings, manage and work with the team to develop response sections, refine executive summaries, conduct in-progress reviews, and ensure on-time delivery of the response.

  • Developing and maintaining qualification materials including project descriptions, experience matrices/overviews, safety and quality statistics, capability statements, etc – specifically working with our project execution teams to capture and develop performance proofs and client testimonials

  • Working hand-in-hand with capture teams to develop sound account management strategies and ensure the needed business development and capture activities are in motion

  • Ensuring that all sales documents comply with our corporate identity program and client confidentiality requirements

  • Supporting our sales and marketing support teams in the timely preparation of press releases, social media, and other print/digital publications

  • Developing a deep understanding of ARCO’s business, and our differentiators in the construction industry, in our regions, and in our market verticals.

NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS

  • 8+ years of sales and proposal development experience; Technical service industry experience considered a plus

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communications, or other related degree

  • MBA Preferrable, but not required

  • Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) Capture Practitioner Certification preferred, but not required
