Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

This role requires extensive experience in hydraulics, as 85% of the plant operates on hydraulic systems. Responsibilities include conducting machine installations and repairs, performing maintenance and facilities repairs, and handling tasks related to electrical, mechanical, welding, and fabrication of special parts as needed. You will be expected to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, process sheets, and assembly schematic drawings. Additionally, you will operate a variety of hand and power tools to repair, grease, weld, cut, change parts, and complete other tasks. A key part of this role involves controlling downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques and monitoring compliance. You will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, functionality, and safety of equipment and work areas. Other responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed.

This position is in a concrete facility that is not climate-controlled and can be dirty. Tools are provided.
