Vontier Human Resources Director in Raleigh, North Carolina

As the Human Resources Director, you will act as the strategic HR Leader aligned to develop and implement people strategies for the Corporate Executive Leadership team. You will serve as a consultant to management on human resource-related issues, act as an employee champion and change agent, and work to support the achievement of the organization's vision, values, and growth goals. Reporting to the VP of HR, Transformation, and Operations. This position is onsite 3+ days a week in Raleigh, NC.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Business Strategy Alignment: Understand the business’s strategic direction and goals to align, develop, and execute the HR strategy accordingly.

• Organizational Development: Drive organizational change initiatives, manage HR-related internal and external communication, and promote organizational values and culture.

• Talent Management: Partner with the Talent Development Center of Excellence to develop and implement talent management strategies, including workforce planning, recruiting, retention, succession planning, and career development. Collaborate with peers across Operating Companies (OpCos) to understand functional talent and identify opportunities for internal talent movement.

• Performance Management: Oversee and manage the performance management process. Educate and coach leaders on conducting critical conversations and emphasize the importance of performance management.

• Compensation and Benefits: Partner with the Compensation and Benefits Center of Excellence to inform and develop competitive compensation and incentive plans that attract and retain high performers and align with the organization's strategic objectives.

• Employee Relations: Liaison between employees and management to address questions or concerns regarding company policies, practices, and regulations.

• Compliance: Ensure the organization complies with all existing global government, legal, and company policies and laws.

• Data Analysis: Use HR metrics and data to provide insights into HR processes and help shape the HR strategy.

• Leadership and Teamwork: Provide the HR team leadership, direction, and partnership. Collaborate across business functions and Operating Companies to foster a unified culture.

WHO YOU ARE

• Bachelor's degree.

• Significant experience in Human Resources, with a strong focus on HR strategy and business partnership.

• Proven experience in strategic planning, organizational development, and change management.

• Excellent people management skills and an ability to engage with and win employees' trust at all levels.

• Strong understanding of employment law and other compliance regulations.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

• Analytical and goal-oriented.

• Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP) is preferred.
