The Director of Digital Strategy manages multiple product teams that work with business stakeholders to balance demand and deliver strategic change and technology roadmaps supporting business goals and vision. The Director of Digital Strategy partners with a cross section of Premium Finance Senior Leadership, IT, and other support partners to maximize value within the delivery of the strategic change and technology roadmap which requires strategic and tactical leadership skills to ensure an effective, holistic digital solutions are delivered to market. In addition, they are responsible for the delivery of key digital initiatives to support the growth and service goals of the organization, working closely with the sales team to identify and create strategic partnerships within the insurance world. The Director of Digital Strategy is expected to be a thought leader in executing complex change and delivering technology projects to market.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage multiple product teams tasked with providing the direction and vision for all premium finance digital initiatives, including prioritization, requirements, user acceptance testing, business readiness, and implementation
Partner with Premium Finance Senior Leadership Team to clearly articulate business strategy and prioritization to the premium finance organization and technology teams
Manage digital initiatives to achieve partner alignment and approvals including legal, compliance, finance, marketing, and others, as needed
Govern, manage, lead and drive short-term and long-term projects to ensure LOB optimization
Assist sales in engaging external clients and technology partners in the adoption of digital products
Work with technology leads to create a cohesive culture of developing and releasing best in class digital solutions
Serve as key resource to technology and other support teams to answer questions, provide clarification, and triage issues in support of the development & change lifecycle
Work closely with risk stakeholders within Truist to ensure proper risk and controls are in place when developing and releasing new products and features
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Management Information Systems (MIS), or equivalent education and related training
Ten or more years of banking, financial services or other relevant experience, preferably in premium finance
Eight or more years of supervisory/management experience
Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously
Ability to lead effectively lead a team, including selecting, training and developing associates, directing associates towards desired objectives (e.g. delegating, motivating, resolving problems); manage department functions (e.g. developing performance standards, measuring results, taking corrective action and rewarding associates, as appropriate)
Possess operational risk background and strong skills in operational risk assessment, process control and design, self-audit development, and MIS development
Possess strong project management, strategic planning and change management skills
Excellent organizational and managerial skills
Well-developed customer relations skills
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Ability to travel, occasionally overnight
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in business-related field
Superior knowledge of operation functions, systems, policies and procedures for premium finance
Experience working in an Agile environment
Expert level of knowledge of the premium finance line of business
The annual base salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000.
