Title : Credit Card Systems Specialist

Type: Perm / Full Time

Location: Hybrid in Raleigh, NC

Pay: $59,000 / year

Must Have:

  • Cards experience/familiarity with language and systems used for cards and card platforms

  • Project experience (including testing experience)

  • Ability to communicate easily with stakeholders and build relationships

  • Ability to work independently without a lot of hand holding

Nice to Have:

  • Jira experience

Credit Card Systems is a project driven department where the content of assignments and duties constantly varies. A Credit Card Business Systems Analyst will interact regularly with stakeholders across the organization to research, develop, evaluate, and implement credit card solutions, services, products, and enhancements to meet the current and growing demands of the Credit Union membership and employees.

A Senior Credit Card Business Systems Analyst will be able to see individual projects and processes in terms of how they impact Card and ATM Services as a whole.

Research and develop business requirements for each project; write and implement test scripts; conduct thorough and comprehensive testing to satisfy all requirements; and present project details, updates, and test results to Card Operations management.

Help newer Credit Card Systems employees learn the functionality of all credit card systems and applications, and all systems that interact with credit card systems. Use a working knowledge of Fiserv and PSCU applications to complete research and initiatives.

Ensure the functionality of all credit card systems, applications, and processes. Communicate any issues and work to resolve quickly. Work with various systems and technical teams, vendors, and others as need to scope requests, ensure access to needed applications, manage technical upgrades, and implement monthly, quarterly, or annual Business-as-Usual (BAU) initiatives.

Take lead in assembling teams and working sessions to gather impact analyses for new initiatives or updates. Make suggestions for changes that will improve the organization and services to members.

Work to quickly mitigate risks and resolve blockers. Document step-by-step processes as it relates to credit card initiatives. Perform regression testing to ensure systems and applications continue to function as designed during and after project implementation.

Mentor and provide support to junior members of the team. Volunteer to assist manager with special initiatives.

Required Knowledge, Abilities, Skills

  • Experience working in large, enterprise level programs/projects.

  • Strong experience working between multiple projects simultaneously, with varied degrees of complexity and duration.

  • Able to document step-by-step processes, testing, and outcome as it relates to projects and any new change.

  • Able to work collaboratively with others to accomplish objectives, while establishing confidence and respect

  • Possess excellent telephone, email and personal communication skills, problem solving/troubleshooting skills, be very well-organized, professional, resourceful, and have a willingness to help others.

  • Possess positive attitude and seek to foster strong working relationships between branch, operations, and our vendor partners.

  • Displays a detailed comprehension of Microsoft Office Applications, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Desired Knowledge, Abilities, Skills

  • Project management and/or QC testing experience is preferred.

  • Experience with Credit Card Operations or payment related industry.

  • Takes initiative and has the ability to train Card Operations staff on basic functions of Credit Card Systems.

  • Is a subject matter expert (SME) in at least one area of Credit Card Systems and serves as a primary resource in that area.

  • Has a well-rounded understanding of our credit card portfolio, test environments, Evolve, M-Cycle, CICS, Okta, Fiserv, Fiserv Documentation, Product Control File, and its purpose, OnBase, Visa Online, ROWnet, and MARGO Platform/Teller, as well as branch and operations departments.

  • Demonstrates high-quality written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to break down complicated technical requirements into verbiage stakeholders can comprehend.

  • Has taken a leadership role in at least three initiatives or projects and seen it through to completion.

  • Displays a detailed comprehension of primary and secondary job responsibilities.

  • Has a high-level understanding of all Card Operations departments, what their key responsibilities are, and how they interact with Credit Card Systems.

  • Displays a detailed comprehension of the Atlassian applications Confluence and Jira.
