US Tech Solutions Contract Administrator in Raleigh, North Carolina

Note: This role is remote. There is a possibility for 3-4 meetings a month in office, but the worker will not be expected to go to an office on a regular basis, once training is complete.

Job Description:

  • Any kind of monthly billing experience in "SAP" would be preferable. Assists the Business & Technical Consultant role for a major utility company to process business applications, agreements, and billing for services offered to customers.

  • Support includes reviewing documentation provided by customers, billing set up, various complex and urgent requests supporting external customers, performs various bill research, performs various agreement research and more.

  • Works closely with internal and outside council legal team. Interacts with complex customer agreement and billing; gives information in response to inquiries about accounts, products, and services.

Typical Functions:

  • Takes care of and settles customer billing issues. Answers internal customer questions regarding product or service and operation or maintenance.

  • Receives and processes orders/applications, provides information concerning pricing, changes in service, legal agreements, or other related questions.

  • Nature of products and services is at a level of complexity that usually involves up to one years of directly related study, training, and/or experience to acquire job know-how. May talk with internal/external customers by phone or video call to ensure the best service possible.

  • Consults with customers to obtain information and explain available services.

  • Investigates and corrects errors, following customer and company records. Perform program data management activities as needed, including, running reports, updating data.

  • Adjusts complaints concerning billing or services rendered or refers complaints of product or service failure to appropriate departments for investigation.

  • Coordinates customers' service needs with other departments as required to ensure customer service.

  • This position is typically retained to manage multiple White projects per the Project Management Center of Excellence Project Profile Matrix.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of contract management or billing support experience. 2-year degree.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of basic project management principles. Project related work school experience.

  • Demonstrated a Working Knowledge in Project or Contract Management, Decision Making, Critical Thinking, and Problem Solving.

  • Collaborative Team Member.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Graduation from a four-year college or university. Demonstrated to Working knowledge in project related Scheduling Cost Controls.

  • The Contract Management & Billing Support Specialist may have relationships with individuals in various organizations ranging from individual contributors to Department Leadership (i.e., individual contributors up to senior department management).

  • Bachelors.
