UL, LLC Business Development Manager in Raleigh, North Carolina

  • This is Hybrid position requiring 3 days/week in the office. Candidates should reside in Research Triangle Park, NC or Chicagoland area.

  • Manages the development and growth of Printed Circuit Board (PCB) reliability service with select industry segments

  • Collaborates with sales managers to implementing strategies with key customers that promote service revenue growth and achieve order bookings goals.

  • Responds effectively to urgent and sensitive customer issues.

  • Develops and coordinates executive presentations and de-briefings.

  • Assists industry leadership in the development of global account strategies, goals and plans.

  • Focuses on customer satisfaction, account growth and expansion of services provided, and sustaining customer loyalty for a group of key customers.

  • Oversee development role for multiple product service lines

  • Experience in International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR) program strongly preferred.

  • Experience in PCB safety and semiconductor testing a plus

  • Total Rewards: The salary range for this position is $110,000. - $120,000. and is based upon years of experience that is commensurate with the level of the position.

  • All employees at UL Solutions are eligible for annual bonus compensation. The target for this position is 20% of the base salary offered. Employees are eligible for health benefits such as medical, dental and vision; wellness benefits such as mental & financial health; and retirement savings (401K) commensurate with the standard rewards offered in each individual location or country, for the relevant position level.

  • We also provide employees with paid time off including vacation (15 days), holiday including floating holidays (12 days) and sick time off (72 hours).

  • University Degree (Equivalent to Bachelors degree) in Business Administration, Marketing or a related disciplines

  • 5+ years of experience in highest value corporate account management or eight years of experience in Marketing and/or Sales area

  • Account management experience.

  • Detailed understanding of the Printed Circuit Board (PCB) industry, including Testing and Certification activities

  • Networking experience with industry board fabricators and associated OEM partners

  • Prefer 8 years of experience working in the PCB industry

  • Experience with ITAR program strongly preferred

  • Experience with semiconductor testing services a plus

  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate, acquire and manage high value customer accounts.

  • Ability to sell at the highest level with a compelling value-add strategy approach.

  • Detailed understanding of the applicable industry product lines and target markets.
