Job Title: Construction Assistant Project Manager

Job Description

We are searching for a Construction Assistant Project Manager who will play a vital role in supporting the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and managing construction projects.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and managing construction projects.

  • Work with subcontractors and architects to assemble and get approved Submittals, RFIs, and Change Orders.

  • Monitor project schedules, budgets, and timelines to ensure adherence to plans.

  • Assist in the preparation of project documentation and reports.

  • Coordinate and communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project team members.

  • Provide support in resolving issues and addressing challenges during the project lifecycle.

  • Assist in maintaining positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management or a related field.

  • Previous experience in a construction-related role.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Knowledge of construction processes and project management principles.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in estimation, construction, bidding, and blueprint reading.

  • Proficiency in estimating software.

  • Knowledge of RFIs, Change Orders, and Submittals.

  • Experience in preconstruction, commercial construction, and project coordination.

  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills.

  • Proven experience as an estimator in the construction industry.

Work Environment

This role is will be four days on-site in Pinehurst, NC with one day remote.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $70000.00
