We are seeking a skilled Auto Mechanic with a specialization in vehicle accessories, including lighting systems, power inverters, and other aftermarket upgrades. The ideal candidate will have experience installing, diagnosing, and repairing a variety of automotive electrical accessories while ensuring quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.Key Responsibilities:•Install, troubleshoot, and repair automotive lighting systems (LEDs, strobes, auxiliary lights, etc.).•Install and service power inverters and other electrical accessories in vehicles.•Wire and integrate aftermarket accessories such as backup cameras, GPS systems, remote starters, and other electronic components.•Diagnose and resolve electrical issues related to installed accessories.•Ensure all installations meet safety standards and manufacturer specifications.•Provide customers with product recommendations and technical support.•Maintain a clean and organized workspace while following all safety protocols.Qualifications & Skills:•Proven experience as an auto mechanic or automotive electrician, with a focus on accessory installations.•Strong knowledge of 12V electrical systems and wiring diagrams.•Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues.•Experience working with tools and equipment related to accessory installations.•Understanding of automotive computer systems and CAN bus wiring is a plus.•Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work.•Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.•Excellent customer service and communication skills.Preferred Qualifications:•ASE certification or equivalent experience in automotive electrical work.•Prior experience working in an auto customization shop or similar environment.•Familiarity with commercial and fleet vehicle accessory installations.Benefits:•Competitive salary based on experience.•Opportunities for overtime and bonuses.•Paid time off and holidays.•On-the-job training and professional development.•Employee discounts on automotive accessories.If you are passionate about vehicle customization and have expertise in automotive electrical accessories, we’d love to hear from you!
