Lincoln National Corporation seeks a Software Engineer -- API and Microservices in Radnor, PA. Design, development, unit, and integration testing activities aligned to Lincoln's Annuities IT Inforce Automation department. Participate in daily stand-up sessions, backlog definition/refinement, estimating of Kanban team requirements/stories. Support the subject matter experts to complete project development responsibilities. Lead the development and design on smaller, less critical projects and applications. Responsible for working with business stakeholders and product owners to define system level requirements and technical specifications such that proper design and software development is achieved to meet business goals and objectives. Supports the production environment by providing technical support for break-fixes and issues encountered by end users. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Systems and 4 years of experience utilizing Java or Python demonstrated with developing AWS services and applications. Experience must include the following: 4 years of experience utilizing SQL and No-SQL database platforms and services; 3 years of experience building RESTful services utilizing JSON; 2 years of experience implementing secure solutions using OAuth, Encryption with OWASP security standards; 2 years of experience with DevOps practices, including usage of automation tools like Git, JUnit, and Jmeter; 2 years of experience developing solutions in AWS Cloud with S3, Lambda, AWS EC2, SNS, SQS, Dynamo DB, CloudWatch, API gateway.
