JOB REQUIREMENTS: Description Primary Functions Perform general maintenance work in a manufacturing environment. Duties and Overall Responsibilities Work safely to prevent on the job injuries by always following safety rules and regulations including proper wearing of company PPE Self-driven individual that can work with minimal supervision Follow written and verbal instructions from the maintenance manager Routine maintenance, preventive maintenance, and corrective maintenance Maintain a record of performed maintenance tasks Perform general maintenance work to maintain and repair structures, electrical systems, and hydraulic and pneumatic equipment Repair and replace parts on mechanical equipment such as small presses, drills, buffing and polishing heads Repair and replace electrical switches and small motor controls Possess specific fundamental knowledge of bearings, power transmission equipment, hydraulics/pneumatics, lubrication, welding principles, rigging, overhead cranes, gearboxes, and mobile equipment operation Replace fuses and lighting equipment Perform other duties as assigned ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Requirements Physical Requirements The physical requirements for this position require continuous standing and intermittent walking, bending, sitting, and lifting that may be up to 50 lbs. individually. The Maintenance person should have the physical and mental ability to perform the above necessary job functions while maintaining an exemplary safety record. Skills and Experience A proactive individual with a strong sense of urgency and the ability to work independently. A problem-solver with the ability to analyze and address technical issues effectively.
