We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Machine Operator to join our production team in the bagging department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining the bagging machinery to ensure efficient and accurate packaging of products. This role requires focus on quality control, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to troubleshoot minor mechanical issues.

salary: $14 - $15 per hour

shift: Third

work hours: 8 PM - 8 AM

education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

• Operate Bagging Machinery: Set up, operate, and monitor bagging machines to ensure the accurate and efficient packaging of products according to company standards.

• Quality Control: Regularly inspect finished bags to ensure they meet quality specifications, including correct weight, sealing, and labeling.

• Machine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on bagging equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, and making minor adjustments to ensure optimal performance.

• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve minor mechanical issues with the bagging machinery to minimize downtime and maintain continuous production.

• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others in the production area.

• Inventory Management: Monitor and manage the supply of packaging materials, such as bags, labels, and sealing equipment, to prevent production delays.

• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of production output, machine performance, and any issues encountered during the shift.

• Collaboration: Work closely with the production team, quality control, and maintenance staff to ensure smooth operations and address any production challenges.

The essential functions of this role include:

• manual lifting up to 25lbs

• standing for 10 hours at one time

• working up to 11 hrs of overtime per week

• working weekends
