Description

In this position, you will be a key member of our Facilities and IT team, where primary responsibilities are to provide electrical, building and technology support to a rapidly growing company! Duties include electrical, data integration, maintenance and IT work. Answer user inquiries regarding computer software or hardware operation to resolve problems.

Schedule: Monday - Friday from 8:00AM – 4:00PM with a 30-minute lunch break

Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.

· Ensures assigned equipment is in proper working order and available for use.

· Maintains physical space, ensuring a safe, clean, and functional environment.

· Receives, manages, and processes work order requests; ensures problems are resolved quickly.

· Acts as liaison between employees and any outside contractors needed to resolve specialized problems.

· Drafts and implements preventive maintenance schedules for buildings and equipment.

· Ensures safety standards are followed throughout facility.

· Maintains inventory of supplies; reorders as needed

· Read technical manuals, confer with users, or conduct computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems or to provide technical assistance and support.

· Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software.

· Train users in the proper use of hardware or software.

· Refer major hardware or software problems or defective products to vendors or technicians for service.

· Install and perform minor repairs to hardware, software, or peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications.

· Prepare evaluations of software or hardware and recommend improvements or upgrades.

· Confer with staff, users, and management to establish requirements for new systems or modifications.

· Inspect equipment and read order sheets to prepare for delivery to users.

· Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

· Travel is a must – most of the time.

· Electrical experience preferred.

· Building maintenance experience preferred

· Detail oriented

· Self-motivated

· Excellent communicator

· Quick learner

· Strong troubleshooting skills
