JOB SUMMARY - To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Sourcing Sr. Manager to join our procurement team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement and supply chain management, with expertise in supplier relationship management, category management, cost reduction strategies, and data analytics. The candidate should also be proficient in using procurement tools such as e-sourcing platforms, procurement analytics tools, and ERP systems. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership skills to drive sourcing initiatives that align with the company's overall business objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Develop and Execute Sourcing Strategies:
o Lead the development and implementation of sourcing strategies for key categories and new products to drive cost efficiencies, improve quality, and mitigate supply risks.
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sourcing strategies with business goals and ensure seamless execution.

Supplier Relationship Management:
o Manage and optimize supplier and contract manufacturing relationships to ensure high performance, continuous improvement, and long-term partnership.
o Conduct supplier evaluations, performance reviews, and negotiations to secure favorable terms and conditions.
o Develop new supplier and sub-contractors to support new product requirements

Category Management:
o Oversee category management activities, including market analysis, supplier selection, and category strategy development.
o Drive innovation and best practices within assigned categories to achieve competitive advantage.
• Cost Reduction and Value Optimization:
o Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities across the supply chain without compromising quality or reliability.
o Lead initiatives to optimize value from suppliers through strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier collaboration.

Data Analytics and Reporting:
o Utilize data analytics to inform sourcing decisions, track performance metrics, and identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
o Prepare and present regular reports on sourcing performance, cost savings, and supplier performance to senior leadership.

Risk Management:
o Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop strategies to mitigate them, including alternative sourcing options and contingency planning.
o Monitor global supply chain trends and market dynamics to proactively address potential disruptions.

Leverage Procurement Technology:
o Utilize e-sourcing platforms, procurement analytics tools, and ERP systems to streamline procurement processes and enhance decision-making.
o Stay up-to-date with the latest procurement technologies and implement best practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Leadership and Team Development:
o Lead and mentor a team of sourcing professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.

Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture

QUALIFICATIONS -The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill or ability required.
Education and Experience
• Bachelor's Level of Degree in the Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred
• Minimum 8-10 years of demonstrated experience in procurement and supply chain management, with a focus on strategic sourcing
• Proven experience in supplier relationship management, category management, and cost reduction initiatives.
• Professional certifications such as CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management), CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply), or PMP (Project Management Professional) are a plus

Skills & Knowledge

• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Excellent analytical skills, with experience in data-driven decision-making.
• Proficiency in procurement tools, including e-sourcing platforms, procurement analytics tools, and ERP systems.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to influence and drive change.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

• This position requires some travel up to 25% of the time

Minimum Salary: 133000.00 Maximum Salary: 175000.00 Salary Unit: Yearly
