Lincoln Technical Institute Director of Education in Whitestone, New York

Would you like to use your management skills in a life changing, educational environment? Lincoln Technical Institute is seeking an Education Director. In this role, you would further develop and enhance our training courses and provide vision, strategic direction, and leadership to our faculty members and students. In line with the organization's objective of achieving the optimum level of student success, you would recruit, develop, and manage a team to expand existing, and develop new, curricula and programs. As the school's educational leader, you would set the standard of quality, ethics, and integrity for the school.

Requirements

  • Associates degree or BA equivalent work experience

  • 5+ years of managerial experience

  • Leadership experience in a technical career school or with technical college programs desired.

  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • Demonstrated ability to build successful relationships and partner with senior and executive management

    Preferred:

  • Master's degree in education or related field

    Responsibilities

  • Encourages enthusiasm, instills commitment for the Vision and Core Values of Lincoln Tech, and promotes organizational culture.

  • Emphasizes strategies that maximize the use of available resources, to consistently strive for quality results, thereby achieving standards of excellence.

  • Makes effective decisions and supports implementation and evaluation of programs and policies.

  • Assists in budget preparation by forecasting trends and potential requirements.

  • Contributes to curriculum development and implementation.

  • Encourages and supports faculty development, training, onboarding, and evaluations.

  • Focuses on faculty recruitment, to ensure qualified instructors for all programs.

  • Maintains appropriate records in compliance with state, accrediting body, and Company policy.

  • Compiles and follows-up on supply and training equipment requests.

    Compensation range:

    90K - 100K annually
