TEKsystems Cable Technician in Queens, New York

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Low Voltage Data Technician to join our team in Queens, NY. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing, servicing, and troubleshooting low voltage systems, including data, security, and telecommunications infrastructure. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, collaborate with a dynamic team, and contribute to the success of our clients’ operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, service, and troubleshoot low voltage systems, including data, security, CCTV, access control, and alarm systems.

  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams for system placement and installation.

  • Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on existing systems.

  • Route and terminate CAT5e, CAT6, and coaxial cables.

  • Maintain accurate records of installations, services, and repairs.

  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure project success.

Mandatory Certifications:

  • OSHA 30 Certification Card

  • SST Card
