Citigroup Balance Sheet Management Senior Lead Analyst in Queens, New York

Citibank, N.A. seeks a Balance Sheet Management Senior Lead Analyst for its Long Island City, New York location.

Duties: Develop global analytical and reporting solutions around liquidity for internal and regulatory liquidity stress metrics. Analyze and monitor the liquidity profile to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements regarding proper liquidity levels for liquidity internal and regulatory stress metrics. Review and produce Monthly and Quarterly liquidity management reports to senior management on the state of liquidity metrics and position, which are used for various forums including the Assets and Liabilities Committee (ALCO) in order to comply with liquidity reporting regulatory requirement. Provide guidelines to Finance & Risk Shared Services (FRSS) across the globe on liquidity reporting that include liquidity stress metrics such as Term Liquidity Stress Test (TLST), Resolution Liquidity Adequacy and Positioning (RLAP), Net Stable Funding Ratio (NSFR) and Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR). Execute liquidity reporting and analytics transformation by developing enhancements to internal systems, controls, and analytics framework that are related to the liquidity reporting processes with collaboration of technology and other stakeholders. Support the forecasting team in any matter related to internal forecasting processes and the Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review (CCAR). Create daily liquidity commentaries used in the Daily Liquidity and Capital Summary (DLCS) report, which is distributed to regulators and senior management. Develop framework for thresholds monitoring across key liquidity reports. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Finance, Economics, Engineering (any), or related field and 7 years of progressively responsible, post-baccalaureate experience as a Financial Planning & Analysis Senior Analyst, Balance Sheet Management Lead Analyst, or related position involving liquidity and balance sheet analytics, forecasting, and reporting within the financial services domain. 7 years of experience must include: Advanced Excel for large data sets; Balance Sheet Forecasting; Banking and Markets products, and embedded underlying liquidity risks; Reviewing, creating, and improving liquidity reports published daily, monthly, and quarterly; Financial statements, including Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss, Cash Flows; Presenting liquidity results to senior management; and Developing enhancements to liquidity reporting processes. Additionally, 1 year of experience must include: U.S.-based regulatory policies and requirements around liquidity for financial institutions; Liquidity stress metrics, including Term Liquidity Stress Test (TLST), Resolution Liquidity Adequacy and Positioning (RLAP), FR2052a Regulatory Report, Net Stable Funding Ratio (NSFR) and Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR); Advanced Tableau for reporting and data visualization; Liquidity Forecasting; and Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review (CCAR) modeling.
