THE POSITION The Associate Director, Supply Chain Management will lead the end-to-end supply chain for all of Parse's products. Using a very hands-on approach, you will be responsible for inventory management, forward and reverse logistics, shipping configuration design, and supply and capacity planning. IN THIS POSITION, YOU WILL: Supervise, manage, and direct all packing, shipping, receiving, planning, scheduling, and inventory control activities, including direct management of all shipping and receiving personnel. Maintain a 100% fill rate on orders while minimizing E&O inventory through a combination of maintaining appropriate safety stock levels, partnering with sales to model demand, and monitoring and adjusting MRP parameters to produce reliable signals. Liaise with team members in Manufacturing, Process Transfer, Procurement, Project Management, and Quality Control, and Sales to ensure sufficient supply of ready-to-ship product meeting all specifications. Represent all Supply Chain interests during the development of new products or revisions to existing products. Create and maintain version-controlled BOMs for all manufactured items to yield accurate post-manufacturing entry of all input enzymes, reagents, consumables, and other materials. Develop, set, and track quarterly and long-term departmental goals and KPIs, including staff developmental goals and kaizen targets, creating Tableau dashboards or similar visualizations as appropriate Maintain inventory accuracy through a combination of stratified cycle counting, physical inventory counting, controlled inventory issuances, and back flushing. Author, revise, review, and/or approve area-impacting GCLP and GMP documents consistent with all company and regulatory standards to support best-in-class operations and audit readiness. Serve as area SME for all audits and inspections. Write and revise departmental standard operating procedures and work instructions to ensure compliance with all applicable policies and regulations, best-in-class operations, and audit readiness. While meeting all customer and company requirements, minimize total logistics and fulfillment cost by evaluating primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging, monitoring domestic and international shipping lanes for elevated risks, and improving shipping configurations for ambient and cold chain items. Regularly meet with relevant departments to obtain required information for all Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) and Production Planning processes, presenting analyzed results and outputs to key stakeholders during S&OP and Production Planning meetings. Review MBRs for accuracy and serve as departmental approver for all first-issue MBRs.
