U.S. Marine Corps Visual Information Specialist in Quantico, Virginia
Summary You will serve as a Visual Information Specialist at the GG-12 grade level responsible for the design and production of multimedia graphics for the Marine Corps Intelligence Activity, Graphics/Multimedia Branch (3OPS). Responsibilities You will inform authors, managers, and operations on status of work in progress and manages workload to meet customer deadlines. You will establish and maintain working relationships and networks with customers, representatives of other government agencies, professional colleagues internal and external to the organization. You will work closely and collaboratively with internal and external customers to define their requirements, develop concepts that support their initiatives, set expectations, obtain feedback, and ensure that products meet their needs. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector such as: Collect, review, interpret, evaluate and integrate data from multiple sources in developing visual information presentations and in preparing new or revising previous products. Determine capabilities and limitations of available multimedia resources and whether customer requests for multimedia products are feasible and compatible. Reviews\ visual information products prepared by other agencies or activities for technical accuracy and logical treatment and interpretation of information. Experience must be in the actual type of work for which application is made. Unpaid experience is creditable, provided the work done was of a quality level and demonstrated the ability required for the position being filled. This includes planning the preparation and use of photographs, illustrations, drawings, and other art work, charts, diagrams, dioramas, maps, slides, overlays, and other kinds of visual material for use in communicating information through visual means. This position is in the excepted service and does not confer competitive status.
