Defense Security Service SUPERVISORY INTELLIGENCE OPERATIONS SPECIALIST in Quantico, Virginia

Summary DCSA CI is seeking an experienced supervisor and subject matter expert in CI collection management to serve as the Branch Chief Collection Management Branch. Candidate will manage CI collections to satisfy DCSA/DoD CI collection requirements, to include representing DCSA CI at various national/defense level forums. This is an excellent opportunity for those who have experience integrating CI activities, and managing collection requirements, aligned with agency mission/national defense priorities Responsibilities As a SUPERVISORY INTELLIGENCE OPERATIONS SPECIALIST you will be responsible for the following duties: Serves as the Collection Management Branch Chief in the CI Operations Division responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, and evaluating the activities of assigned personnel. Incumbent will supervise Intelligence Operations Specialists responsible for day to day receipt, review, oversight, and management of CI Collection Management Operations. Incumbent will ensure personnel properly process and track incoming reporting from Counterintelligence Special Agents (CISA) in four geographic regions. Incumbent will identify, recommend, and implement agency-wide guidance, process, and tools for the management and deconfliction of intelligence collection requirements and the related intelligence information reporting. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies/knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have specialized experience sufficient to demonstrate that you have acquired all the competencies necessary to perform at a level equivalent in difficulty, responsibility, and complexity to the next lower grade GG-13 in the Federal service and are prepared to take on greater responsibility. Generally, this would include one year or more of such specialized experience. Counterintelligence: Apply knowledge of the Counterintelligence Functional Services categories, to include: support to arms control/treaties; briefings, debriefings and reporting; research and analysis; and inquires. Education Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
