Summary Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is looking for the best and brightest to join our Team! Responsibilities Performs data entry work and reporting in/from the merchandising system in the support of management to evaluate and improve the efficiency, effectiveness and productivity of Merchandise Planning, Planogram, and Replenishment System. Partners with Analysts to ensure all manual distributions are completed in a timely fashion. Coordinates with RDC team on large distribution quantities for better effectiveness of the RDC workflow and processing. Identifies weekly cancellation of the manual distributions from WMS reporting to troubleshoot and redistribute. Identifies any inventory that need a corrective count for AR and NON-AR inventory units in the RDCs. Reviews all manual distributions in a timely manner, to include seasonal and flush timeframes to hit ideal inventory and sales targets based on fiscal plan. Maintains and processes PO cancellations and approvals for Replenishment. Will conduct review on past due POs to provide recommendation to Analyst Team. Maintains data integrity on existing merchandise styles by validating accuracy with set up components to include vendor, class, style, cost/retail amounts. Implements established strategies and uses findings to identify new styles to add and old styles to delete from replenishment within the RDC manual distribution process. Compiles all Replenishment and Planning reports on a daily/weekly/monthly basis to include but not limited to: Dashboard, OCONUS Dashboard, Daily AR orders, Replenishment Exceptions, PO Cancellation, and Financial DOS report. Will disseminate to Replenishment and Planning Team, inclusive of management. Create and maintain style characteristics within RMS and Crossroads daily. Adhere to accuracy guidelines to minimize duplicate records and nomenclature consistency. Post planograms in pdf format monthly. In addition, will maintain and update planogram site assignments in Crossroads and Cognos. Exercises analytical ability and judgment, and applies knowledge of management practices, methods and techniques to analyze processes. Compiles and organizes data from various sources to develop and prepare graphs, charts and reports for presentation, and evaluate needs, conduct records research, review reports and regulations and directives. May review reports to help identify administrative, programmatic and operational issues or problematic procedural processes. May perform tasks and reviews of various internal functions and systems to determine maximum efficiency and compliance with established MCCS policies and regulations. Provides World Class Customer Service with an emphasis on courtesy. Assists customers and communicates positively in a friendly manner. Takes action to solve problems quickly. Alerts the higher-level supervisor, or proper point of contact for help when problems arise. Adheres to safety regulations and standards. Promptly reports any observed workplace hazards, and any injury, occupational illness, and/or property damage resulting from workplace mishaps to the immediate supervisor. Adheres to established standards of actively supporting the principles of the EEO program and prevention of sexual harassment. Performs other related duties as assigned. This is a white-collar position where occasional lifting up to 20 lbs may be required. Requirements Conditions of Employment See Duties and Qualifications EVALUATIONS: Qualifications An appropriate combination of education and experience that demonstrates possession of knowledge and skill equivalent to that gained in the above, OR three years¿ experience and in-depth knowledge in retail buying and merchandising system data entry. Skill in oral and written communication to prepare and present recommendations and solutions regarding issues based on analysis and evaluation of proposals. Skill to operate a personal computer and associated software. Must have extensive knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Excel formulas and queries. Also needs to be able to type 60 WPM.
