Summary You will serve as a Data Capture, Assessment and Production (CAP) Manager at Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory under the Deputy Commandant for Combat Development and Integration. You will execute the assessment and information collection plan that captures wargame objects and lessons learned. You will identify future challenges and opportunities, develop warfighting concepts, and comprehensively explore options in order to inform the combat development process to meet the challenges of the future operating environment. You will analyze wargame results within the timeframe as may be specified by the Wargaming Division and the wargame sponsor. You will submit the analysis with writing skills commensurate with article submissions to professional military publications. You will assist in the management of rehearsal in the preparation for and execution of wargames to ensure formulation and completion of CAP process and report distribution. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties: 1) Developing detailed data collection plans in support of wargaming analysis utilizing investigative, computational and cognitive analysis, and assessment techniques; 2) Applying automation techniques (i.e., software for data capturing/analysis/presentation, collaboration/visualization/decision support tools, application of automated programs to specific taskings) to improve delivery products in support of mission activities; and 3) Developing after-action reports and program briefing materials to present wargaming analysis results and findings.
