USmax Corporationis seekinga Knowledge Management Specialist IIto provide advanced knowledge management support to the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) Field Operations. This role involves the development, management, and maintenance of critical documentation and knowledge management systems to support DCSA's operational needs. The specialist will be responsible for ensuring that all knowledge management activities are compliant with DCSAs standards and effectively support the agency's mission.

This position is contingent upon contract award.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Documentation and Version Control:
    1. Coordinate, staff, and assist in the development and revision of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), policies, and memorandums to ensure smooth operation of DCSA programs.
    2. Manage all project documentation, ensuring compliance with templates, required content, and established staffing procedures.
    3. Maintain version control for all documentation, ensuring that the most current versions are accessible and properly archived.
  • Knowledge Management System (KMS) Administration:
    1. Develop, maintain, and manage electronic libraries where authorized users can access materials securely.
    2. Design, develop, and maintain SharePoint sites, pages, libraries, lists, and custom components. Implement custom workflows and forms using SharePoint Designer.
    3. Integrate SharePoint with other Microsoft 365 tools and third-party applications, ensuring seamless data connectivity between SharePoint and other systems.
    4. Monitor the health and performance of SharePoint sites, addressing user queries, troubleshooting issues, and implementing necessary fixes promptly.
  • Planning and Communication Support:
    1. Provide planning and communication support, including developing necessary materials and conducting forums such as briefings, software demonstrations, user workshops, and marketing materials to increase awareness and understanding of DCSA program objectives and strategies.
    2. Ensure that change management communications include updates from each software build and helpdesk activities.
  • Distribution List and Chart Management:
    1. Develop and maintain internal and external distribution lists for various topics, programs, and projects.
    2. Develop and maintain virtual team charts and RACI (Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, Informed) charts for each initiative.
  • Reporting and Compliance:
    1. Identify products and projects completed in the Monthly Progress and Status Report.
    2. Ensure all knowledge management activities comply with DCSA's security and operational standards.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft SharePoint, SharePoint Designer, Microsoft 365 tools, and experience with custom workflows and data integration. Familiarity with knowledge management systems and version control practices.
  • Superior oral and written communication skills, with a strong command of the English language.
  • The ability to multi-task and assist multiple DCSA employees simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Required Experience

  • At least two years of relevant experience in knowledge management, document control, or a related field.

Required Education

  • Bachelors degree required.
  • An additional six years of relevant experience may be substituted for Bachelors degree.

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • CandidatesMUSThave an active Secret clearance to be considered.

Work Location / Schedule

  • Customer location in Quantico, VA. (Telework may be authorized and determined by the locality).

Travel Requirements

  • Occasional travel may be required, not exceeding 15% of the time.
